Event Overview:

The Youth Leadership Summit is a dynamic, high-impact experience designed to equip students in grades 6–12 with the tools, confidence, and exposure needed to lead in school, their communities, and beyond.

Through interactive sessions, real-world insights, and meaningful connections, the summit empowers students to explore their potential, build critical leadership skills, and begin shaping their future pathways.

Grounded in The Unity Collaborative’s commitment to advancing opportunity and access, the Youth Leadership Summit creates space for students to discover their voice, engage in their communities, and take action toward their goals—while connecting with professionals, mentors, and leaders who reflect possibility and purpose.

This experience goes beyond inspiration—it is designed to provide practical knowledge, hands-on engagement, and lasting impact that supports students in becoming confident, capable, and community-minded leaders.

Key Focus Areas:

• Leadership Development: Building confidence, communication skills, and the ability to lead with purpose in school and everyday life.
• Career Exploration & Exposure: Introducing students to a variety of career pathways, industries, and opportunities through direct engagement with professionals.
• Workforce Readiness: Developing essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, professionalism, and adaptability.
• Educational Pathway Awareness: Providing insight into college, trade, and alternative pathways to help students make informed decisions about their future.
• Civic Engagement: Encouraging students to understand their voice, engage in their communities, and take an active role in creating positive change.
• Mentorship & Connection:Creating opportunities for students to connect with mentors and role models who inspire growth and possibility.
